Basic Mending

Sunday, May 18 from 4-6pm

Class open to students 18 and older.

Learn a variety of techniques for decorative and invisible mending, covering stains, and extensive repairs to well-loved garments and household items. Workshop will discuss how to make repairs that will maintain comfort and practicality, how to adjust repairs for different materials, and how to find the right tools for the job.

Materials for class: "damaged" items along with appropriate scrap fabric for patching if needed (wovens for wovens/ knits for knits), as well as hand sewing needles and thread. All students get a 10% discount on class supplies.

Cancellation/refund policy:  No refunds will be offered within 1 week of class.  Cancellations prior to one week before class are eligible for store credit.  Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee and your store credit will be the balance of your class fee.  Your credit is not eligible for refund.  Classes do not include individual Make-up sessions.  If your teacher has offered to schedule a make-up class and you have scheduled to be there and do not show up, then your make-up class is forfeited and will not be re-scheduled.  Visiting teachers' classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.  We run these classes based on enrollment...paying in advance for visiting teachers to travel and hold workshops and can not offer any credit for any reason.  Please be sure of your schedule before registering for any class.  Thank you!
